January 6, 2014
Children First Academy
Tempe, Arizona

Return to Photo Galleries main page

Students at Children First Academy in Tempe, Arizona created posters as part of the Kids Need to Read Kids-N-Peace program conducted at the campus by school counselor Todd Kemmerer. Kids Need to Read provided each fifth through eighth grade student with a copy of Jay McGraw's Life Strategies for Dealing with Bullies, which was read and discussed extensively throughout a portion of the fall semester. The poster project was designed to allow each grade to work together as a team to illustrate the concepts they had learned during the unit of study. Principal Jevon Lewis judged the posters and the winning class received a pizza party!
