Hero Comics threw a big party for Kids Need to Read, raising an astounding $693 through sketches drawn by many of the valley's most talented artists, all of whom donated their time and talent to benefit KNTR. Superheroes flocked to support our cause and the community filled the store all day! We were there to hand out KNTR backpacks to the kids (sponsored by Bookmans), Highlights magazines to the youngsters (sponsored by Highlights for Children, Inc.), and books to the teens.
